World Sparrow Day !

 

World Sparrow Day is observed annually on March 20th. This day aims to raise awareness about the declining population of sparrows and to highlight the importance of conserving these small birds and their habitats. Sparrows are important indicators of environmental health and the presence of sparrows in an area often indicates a healthy ecosystem.
World Sparrow Day was first initiated by the Nature Forever Society of India in collaboration with the Eco-Sys Action Foundation of France and various other international organizations. It serves as a reminder of the need for collective efforts to protect and conserve sparrows and their habitats worldwide.
On World Sparrow Day, various activities such as birdwatching events, awareness campaigns, and conservation initiatives are organized to promote the conservation of sparrows and raise awareness about the threats they face, including habitat loss, pollution, and urbanization.
Lets protect the animals, birds and the beautiful creatures of god!
